The ToxicTobacco Law petition can be signed by people of ALL ages. For example, many young people know that the toxictobacco companies are trying to entice and addict new young customers. And, they want this predatory behavior to stop. Since these young people have a great stake in the future public health of the United States, their voices should be heard. Moreover, by the time Congress is prepared to debate the proposed ToxicTobacco Law, many of these young signers will be voters. We also have petitions for our international neighbors who also have a great stake in bringing the toxictobacco industry under control. At the 11th World Conference on Tobacco OR Health in Chicago August, 2000 delegates from Australia, Burkina Faso Africa, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Korea, Mexico, New Zealand, and Peru signed the ToxicTobacco Law petition.
