Coalition members believe it is important for smokers, representatives of the tobacco ndustry, elected politicians and other officials, and business leaders to understand the dangers of secondhand cigarette smoke, officially referred to as environmental tobacco smoke ETS. Many nonsmokers, as well as smokers, are unaware the risks of ETS. ildren, in particular, comprise a group that is at high risk. These innocent victims cannot control the quality of their environment. They are unaware the consequences of an unhealthy vironment. As dependents, they are unable to free themselves from these dangerous and deadly toxins.
