The Public Health Leadership Award Addressing Tobacco Control: Leading by Example AHIP is pleased to announce a new award, the Public Health Leadership Award. This annual award honors one health plan or insurer for its outstanding efforts to improve the publics health. For 2004, the award Addressing Tobacco Control: Leading by Example recognizes one AHIP member health plan or insurer for its leadership efforts to help smokers quit and to prevent tobacco use among youth andor adults. The Addressing Tobacco Control: Leading by Example award is sponsored by AHIP and is supported by a grant from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
