The story goes, Mr. James named the store after the amount of money he had in the cash register. Mr. James originally sold only Dunhill pipes and pipe tobacco off of tables and the floor. Mr. Dawson Wimsatt purchased the store from Mr. James in 1985 and expanded with display cases, a large humidor, and many different pipes and cigars. Mr. Wimsatt and his wife, Kay Wimsatt, operated the store for 10 years until he sold the store to his Daughter Elisa Thoele in 1995. Mrs. Thoele gave the store a new face and continued to expand on inventory. Currently, Mrs. Thoele’s sons, Marshall and Michael Sparkman are running the store under the guidance of their mother and grandmother. Marshall and Michael are committed to serving the customers with the same values, which have been passed on for four generations. Marshall and Michael have a vision of expanding the store through the internet and serving the entire country. We are a principle Dunhill dealer with one of the largest selections of new and estate Dunhill pipes in the US.
